Prizes

At our Sheffield Charity 5-a-side Football Tournament, there will be a £350 charity donation made to the Champions League Winners & a £150 donation to the Europa League winners. Awards for Top Fundraisers, Top Goalscorer, Ladies Player of the Tournament, Golden Glove, Player of the Match in Champions League Final

Health & Safety

Our priority is to ensure the safety and well-being of our clients at our events. We provide a medical support team, which is standard at all our events for any injuries that might occur on the pitch.

Players are advised to wear shinpads for safety but this is not mandatory in order to take part and is down to individuals own risk assessments.

You can follow us on social media, and both finals of the Europa League and Champions League will be streamed live. With all the coverage, it’s a good time to remind you that you will be representing your company, so play with respect.

Arrival Details

When your team arrives at the Sheffield Charity 5-a-side Football Tournament, please report to the registration desk; staff at the venue will direct you to where you will register and hand in your waiver should this not already be returned.  There will be some casual networking, and you will then be shown the changing rooms where you can prepare your team and get ready for the tournament.  If possible, please try to arrive no later than 14:00 to make sure that everything is to your satisfaction and that the day runs on schedule.

Charity

By taking part in the Sheffield Charity 5-a-side Football Tournament, you have all helped us raise over £1,500,000 through our events, which we are absolutely thrilled with, and we wish you every success in the tournament. We will have a trophy on offer for the top fundraisers at the event so do continue to push your online fundraising pages out throughout the day.

Facilities

There are not always lockers on site to keep your gear secure so please have a plan in place for this.  Both male and female changing rooms equipped with showers will be available for players to make use of before and after the tournament.

Drinks Reception

There will be a drinks reception after the tournament with each player getting a drinks token for the beverage of their choice, all teams are encouraged to stay for the prize giving and Q & A session with our guest speakers to network with peers regardless of the outcome of the tournament.  Please let us know in advance if you have any questions for our guest speakers and we can add these into the session.

Food & Dietary

There will be a buffet available for players after the tournament and if there is any specific dietary requirements please notify us in advance.

On the Pitch

Please be reminded that player conduct on the pitch reflects upon the image of your company.  Players are encouraged to compete in the tournament in a competitive but friendly manner.  All players should have read and understood the rules which can be found on our website here prior to taking part.
